Introduction
The following headsets and earbuds have been extensively tested by the Subliminal Club team and are certified to produce both superior results and/or a comfortable listening experience. Please note that you do NOT need these headphones to get results from our products — this list is for those looking to enhance and invest in their subliminal use. This list will be upgraded regularly, so please check back.
Headsets
- Sennheiser HD 280 Pro
- Note: These headsets can become a bit uncomfortable with extended use.
- AKG K240 Pro
- Note: These are open-back headphones, meaning they are extremely comfortable (as the open back nature promotes airflow), but the sound tends to “bleed” out of the headset. Those around you WILL be able to hear the masked sounds and will be exposed to ultrasonics.
- Nuraphone by Nura
- Note: These headphones are very unique, as they use a patented and proprietary technology to map your inner ear and create a personalized listening profile. The software then shapes the sound to match what you’d find most appealing. The end result is that the Solace experimental masks sound phenomenal. We are still testing how ultrasonic subliminals are affected by the technology (though you can put the headset into “neutral” mode and bypass the sound enhancements), and as such, these are certified for SOLACE ONLY right now.
Earbuds
- Apple Airpods Pro
- The Airpods Pro works with both Apple and Android phones. Current best choice for those who wish to invest in their subliminal listening experience. Very comfortable, and the “transparency” mode allows you to hear the world around you without having to turn the volume down to extremely low levels. Downfall — batteries last roughly 5 hours, but the charging case can give you another hour or so of listening time with just five minutes of charging
- NuraTrue by Nura
- Note: These headphones use the same “personalized listening” concept as the Nuraphones and as such, they are certified for SOLACE ONLY right now. That being said, with Solace, the NuraTrue earbuds sounds absolutely incredible.
- Bose QuietComfort Earbuds
- Supports transparency mode, very comfortable for long listening.
